SpamBlocker also has an Anti-Virus component called Virus Outbreak Detection. It is not enabled by default, so enabling it can add some protection for your users.

The system sends email attachments up to 100KB (or 60KB on the 2 Series) to the AntiVirus service for analysis. This service has been quite effective at combating some of the fast-mutating malware seen recently.

To enable it, you will first need to have an SMTP Proxy Rule with SpamBlocker. Then go to Subscription Services>> SpamBlocker>> Configure>> Settings. Check the box to enable VOD.
